Will Donald Trump win a landslide in U.S election 2024?
The latest election forecast of Nate Silver revealed that former US President Donald Trump has a 21.4% chance of winning the seven extremely crucial swing states which is eventually double the probability for US Vice President Kamala Harris which stands at 12.6%, reported Newsweek. If Donald Trump ends up winning all the seven swing states namely, Arizona, Michigan, Georgia, North Carolina, Nevada, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, then he would end up securing 312 Electoral College votes which will surpass the 270 mark required for victory.
In spite of Kamala Harris’s narrow lead in the national polls which currently stands at 48.5% to Donald Trump’s 47.8%, Nate Silver gave a prediction that Donald Trump has a chance of 52.6% to win the Electoral College in comparison to Kamala Harris’s 47%. Newsweek also noted that the model by Nate Silver shows that while Kamala Harris is much more likely to win the popular vote, the chances of her to achieve a landslide victory stands at just 1.1% while Donald Trump stands at 0.1%.
